Story

"Nightbloom" is the first track off of our self titled album recorded by Brian Lucey at Magic Garden.  This song borrows imagery from the southwest of America night-blooming cactus flowers.  Columbus guitarist, Steve Sweney also adds to the atmosphere. This record is available on our Store page and Itunes.

Lyrics

Nightbloom

Sun soaked posies on karma colored fields

Must be the time of the year that we’re in

Meadow’s moments, memories yield

She will wilt her way back to him

She was the still night

He was the bloom

Please say we’ll be together soon

The day can be so long

Nightbloom

You get your light from the moon

And you wanted the sun

But you got a night in June

Manic marigolds smile sad in the wind

Carrying her colors he hears her call

Dizzy daisies went South again

Ever since her, ever since her

Night blossoms’ fall

She was the still night

He was the bloom

Please say we’ll be together soon

The day can be so long

Nightbloom

You get your light from the moon

And you wanted the sun

But you got a night in June
