Lyrics

T-Shirt

Once in a great while

I’ll put on my shirt and

Pretend I’m you

Dancing around my room

In my shirt

And there’s old Van

Doing a Moondance

Like it’s the first time I’ve ever heard it

It’s just your size

In the big morning light

But the color is faded now

I got a closet full of times

Now you got a stain on your skin

Where the dye seeps through

Do you walk around

Showing off your tattoo?

Like it was something

Still totally new

Like when I think of love

Dancing around my room just like you

You used to do

Then I take my hand like

We used to do

Then I sway in time like

We used to do

Then I open my eyes and I’m

Alone in my room

And there’s a lot to say

About this old town

Like its growing a lot

I grew out of a lot of shirts in this town

But there’s something

That keeps this old rag new

Like when I think of love

When I dance around my room just like you

You used to do

Then I take my hand like

We used to do

Then I sway in time like

We used to do

Then I open my eyes and I’m

Alone in my room

We go dancing

Dance around my room

And now there’s Crazy Love that I’m listening to

So Glad Tidings to you

While I’ll dance around my room
